Summer 1000

Recent times have shown how high we can go when Indian Americans exercise their electoral power. It can be game-changing! It all starts with registering to vote.

This summer, Aanya Lunani, in collaboration with DesiDems is leading our voter registration drive: Summer 1000.

A Cary Academy high school student and an experienced canvasser aims to make a difference in the community by aiming to register 1000 new voters before the 2024 elections in November. She and a team of young volunteers will engage with the Indian community to share voter registration information and encourage civic participation.

Their energy and dedication will be the driving forces to provide every individual the opportunity to participate in the democratic process.
